In today's society, families are extremely mobile.  Through education, jobs and marriage, children tend to move away.  In addition, more and more empty nesters move away to retire elsewhere.

In today's world, families staying put in one town over many generations is getting more and more rare.

Colchester is blessed with many citizens "born and raised".  We want to celebrate those families with the deepest roots in our town.  We will be actively compiling names of families that have continually lived in Colchester the longest.

If you have any candidates, please contact.  Please make sure to include birthdates and family lineage.
