The topography of Colchester allows it's waters to feed two major Rivers, the Connecticut and Thames.

Connecticut River:

  • Dickenson Creek watershed

  • Blackledge River watershed

  • Jeremy River watershed

  • Salmon River watershed

  • Eight Mile River watershed

Thames River

  • Upper Yantic River watershed

  • Lower Yantic River watershed
