Colchester Falls is the only major falls in Town.

Colchester Falls is fed by the Falls Circle Pond.  The Falls drop about 150 feet and feeds into the Nelkin Brook water course. Click here to see the topographical map of this water feature. (1)

Unfortunately, because of extremely limited access, this natural jewel is only accessible to teenagers and other hardy hikers.  Access from the top and below is through private property.  Also, you must contend with cliff faces or sharp grades from the top and wetlands from below.  It is strongly advised not to attempt a visit.  Our photographer needed owner permission and a team of Sherpas to take these pictures.
